When the tablet capsule softgel optical sorter is in operation, tablets, capsules, and softgels are fed into the top hopper of the vibrating feeder. Through precise adjustment of the primary and secondary vibrating feeders, the products gradually slide down the vibrating trough plate in an orderly manner, aligning into a continuous straight line as they move onto the servo conveyor and enter the visual inspection area.
A high-speed camera continuously captures images of the tablets, capsules, and softgels as they travel along the conveyor. The detection system tracks each product in real time from the moment it enters the inspection area until it exits. The image processing system automatically analyzes these images to determine whether each unit meets the required sorting standards.
As the tablets, capsules, and softgels leave the inspection area, the image processing system sends the inspection results to the logic control system, which precisely controls the sorting mechanism. This ensures that different types of products are accurately sorted into their designated collection bins.
